Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all service agreements entered into between Stonemark Group LLC ("Company," "we," "us") and its clients ("you," "customer"). By signing a service agreement or paying a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
1. Estimates
All estimates provided by Stonemark Group LLC are free and non-binding. No payment of any kind is collected or required during or after an estimate visit. You are under no obligation to proceed with any service after receiving an estimate.
2. Service Agreements & Deposits
All installation services are governed by a written service agreement signed by both parties. Work is scheduled only after a signed agreement and deposit are received.
A deposit of 10% to 25% of the total project cost (as specified in your service agreement) is required at the time of contract signing. The deposit secures your installation date and covers the cost of ordering project-specific materials.
The remaining balance is due upon project completion, following a walk-through inspection and your written or verbal sign-off on the work. Payment must be received before the installation crew leaves the property.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
Stonemark Group LLC accepts the following forms of payment for both deposits and final balances:
- Personal or business check (made payable to Stonemark Group LLC)
- ACH bank transfer / electronic check
- All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards
Payment method-specific processing fees, if any, will be clearly disclosed in your individual service agreement prior to signing. No additional fees apply to check or ACH payments.
4. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation more than 72 hours before the scheduled installation date: You will receive a full refund of your deposit, less any non-returnable materials that have already been ordered specifically for your project. We will notify you of any such materials at the time of cancellation.
Cancellation within 72 hours of the scheduled installation date: A cancellation fee of up to 15% of the total project value will be deducted from your deposit to cover materials restocking, crew scheduling loss, and administrative costs. The remaining deposit balance will be refunded within 7–10 business days.
Same-day cancellation or no-show: If you cancel on the day of the scheduled installation or are not available at the property at the agreed time, a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the total project value will be applied to cover crew dispatch, travel, and any materials brought on-site. Any remaining deposit balance will be refunded within 7–10 business days.
5. Rescheduling
You may reschedule your installation date at no charge provided you give at least 72 hours' notice before the originally scheduled date. Rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the installation date are subject to a rescheduling fee of up to $150, depending on crew and market availability.
Stonemark Group LLC allows up to two (2) free reschedules per service agreement. Additional reschedules may result in the original installation date being released and will require a new scheduling deposit.
6. Cancellation by Stonemark Group LLC
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a project due to weather conditions that would compromise installation quality, crew illness or emergency, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive advance notice and your deposit will be fully refunded or transferred to the rescheduled date at your election. We are not liable for consequential damages resulting from a company-initiated rescheduling.
7. Workmanship Warranty & Refunds After Installation
Stonemark Group LLC provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on all completed installations. If a defect attributable to our installation workmanship is identified within the warranty period, we will return to repair or correct the issue at no cost to you.
Refunds after project completion are not offered for completed work where the scope was performed as described in the service agreement. If you believe work was not performed as specified, please contact us in writing within 14 days of project completion so we can assess and address the issue under the workmanship warranty.
Refunds or credits for manufacturer material defects are governed by the applicable manufacturer warranty and must be directed to the manufacturer. Stonemark Group LLC will assist in facilitating warranty claims where possible.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of the cancellation or refund determination. Refunds are issued via the same payment method used for the original deposit. Credit card refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement depending on your card issuer.
